Job description

What you’ll be doing

We have an exciting opportunity to join Go.Compare’s Performance Marketing team as a Senior PPC Executive, reporting into the PPC Channel Manager. This is a chance for someone with strong PPC experience to work at the cutting edge of Paid Search, managing large budgets to make a tangible impact on business performance.

In this role, you’ll own multiple PPC accounts across Google and Microsoft Advertising. You’ll develop and execute strategies aligned with KPI targets and business goals, taking full ownership of account performance and applying industry best practices to deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, execution, and performance of multiple PPC accounts, managing bid strategies to ensure targets and business objectives are met.
• Line manage and mentor team members, sharing expertise to upskill and develop the team.
• Plan, execute, and communicate A/B tests to continually optimise account performance.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business, keeping them informed on account performance, competitor activity, and the performance of tests.
• Stay at the forefront of Paid Search developments, proactively researching trends, tools, and AI innovations.
• Create, manage, and optimise PPC audience segments to improve targeting and campaign performance.
• Turn performance data into clear, engaging stories, sharing insights with commercial teams in a way that’s easy to understand and supports informed decision-making.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

• Experience in PPC, with a proven track record of managing and growing large-scale, high-performing accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to hit ROI targets while driving revenue and profit growth.
• Experience managing PPC projects in fast-paced environments, including both internal and external stakeholders.
• Significant experience managing a range of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts, with excellent platform knowledge.
• Solid understanding of A/B testing, PPC key metrics, auction insights, quality score, ROI, optimisation score, etc.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and act to improve ROI.
• Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accredited.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, Looker Studio, GA4 and SA360 are a bonus.
