Responsibilities

• Creating a Platform Engineering Strategy.
• Developing the Platform growth strategy.
• Creating and Delivering the Hosted Platform Engineering Roadmap.
• Communicating clearly to the wider organization.
• Monitoring and managing the team’s workload.

Skills

Leadership experience of an engineering or operational team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Networking expertise (E.g. DNS, routing, firewalls)

Expertise in cloud technology (preferably in AWS)

Experience with containerization (E.g. Docker)

Experience with orchestration (E.g. Kubernetes)

Ability to manage and prioritize personal and team workloads

Adaptability in a fast-changing environment

Ability to lead system architecture/design discussions
