Job summary

Partnerize is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own the deployment architecture and drive our Kubernetes platform maturity. You will work within engineering teams to optimise on-prem delivery, shape our Kubernetes platform, and modernise how workloads are deployed and scaled.

This hands-on role requires autonomy over CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and migration strategies to ship value to production. You will collaborate with TechOps and engineering teams to standardise configurations, manage

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative work.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible in production environments.
• Comfortable with Docker and Docker Compose in production.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Strong scripting with Bash and Python.
• Experience with GitOps tooling: ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager.
• Ability to deliver iteratively within existing constraints and plan pragmatically.
• Security-conscious approach to engineering and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own platform stability and BAU tasks across the Kubernetes on-prem estate.
• Shape and implement the Kubernetes platform, including guardrails and deployment pipelines.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments.
• Create self-service deployment documentation and runbooks for engineers.
• Collaborate with TechOps and engineering teams to ensure safe, fast code delivery.
