Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to lead deployment architecture for our on-premise Kubernetes platform. You will own CI/CD pipelines, automated guardrails, and migration strategies to ship value safely and rapidly.

You’ll collaborate with TechOps and engineering to shape standards, containerise workloads, and build self-service tooling, runbooks, and dashboards for developer empowerment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; people-first culture.
• Proven experience with Ansible: roles, inventories, vault, idempotency.
• Production experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Strong scripting in Bash and Python.
• Experience with GitOps tooling: ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).
• Ability to plan pragmatically within constraints; iterative delivery.

Responsibilities

• BAU & Platform Stability: maintain deployment automation and runbooks; monitor health and post-mortems.
• Kubernetes: shape platform design, standardise configurations, and drive container migrations; build CI/CD for Kubernetes.
