Job summary

Partnerize is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to champion the deployment architecture of our Kubernetes-based platform. You’ll be embedded with engineering teams, shaping CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and migration strategies while modernising how we deploy and scale workloads.

You’ll own day-to-day delivery across our on-premise estate, driving platform stability, self-service tooling, and robust observability to help engineering ship value safely and rapidly to production.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong experience with Ansible: roles, inventories, vault, idempotency.
• Comfortable with Docker and Docker Compose in production.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Strong scripting ability: Bash and Python.
• Experience with GitOps tooling: ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).
• Ability to think creatively within constraints and plan pragmatically around them.
• Security-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment automation using Ansible for feature releases.
• Monitor cluster health and coordinate incident responses.
• Maintain deployment runbooks and self-service guides.
• Collaborate on Kubernetes platform design and guardrails.
• Define namespace standards for ingress, RBAC, secrets.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments.
