Job summary

Partnerize is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the deployment architecture for the Kubernetes platform and modernise how workloads are deployed and scaled. You will drive CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and migration strategies with genuine autonomy across engineering teams.

You will work within our engineering teams to optimise day-to-day delivery, focusing on security, reliability, and fast value delivery to production.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team empowerment.
• Extensive Ansible experience: roles, inventories, vault, idempotency.
• Comfortable with Docker in production environments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Scripting ability in Bash and Python.
• Experience with GitOps tooling: ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).
• Ability to think pragmatically and iterate given real-world constraints.
• Methodical, security-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Own BAU and platform stability, contributing to deployment automation and release processes.
• Collaborate with TechOps to design platform and guardrails; standardise configurations in Kubernetes namespaces.
• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows for Kubernetes deployments (Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD).
• Ensure observability through metrics, logging, and alerts within namespaces.
• Create developer self-service docs, runbooks, and templates for safe onboarding and deployments.
