Job summary

The company is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to advance the deployment architecture and Kubernetes platform, embedded with engineering teams to modernise how workloads are deployed and scaled. You will own CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and migration strategies, enabling safe, rapid production delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; people‑first culture and collaboration.
• Strong, demonstrable experience with Ansible: roles, inventories, vault, idempotency.
• Comfortable with Docker and Docker Compose in production environments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Strong scripting ability: Bash and Python.
• Experience with GitOps tooling: ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager or equivalent).
• Ability to think creatively within constraints and plan pragmatically; deliver iteratively.
• Security‑conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment architecture for platform maturation and Kubernetes rollout.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines, automated guardrails, and migration strategies.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, templates, and self‑service docs for engineers.
• Collaborate with TechOps on platform design, RBAC, namespaces, and secrets management.
• Standardise configurations and drive safe, scalable container migrations.
• Build and refine deployment pipelines using Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD or equivalents.
