Job summary

Partnerize is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the deployment architecture and modernise how we deploy and scale workloads on our Kubernetes platform. You will own CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and migration strategies across our on-premise estate, shaping engineering self-service workflows and standards.

The role offers hands-on ownership with real impact, enabling engineers to ship value rapidly while maintaining platform stability and security.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required in a people-first culture.
• Extensive experience with Ansible: roles, inventories, vault, idempotency.
• Production experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Strong Bash and Python scripting skills.
• Experience with GitOps tooling: ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).
• Ability to work pragmatically with existing stack and plan iterative improvements.
• Security-minded and methodical approach to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment architecture across on-premise estate and Kubernetes platform rollout.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, automated guardrails, and migration strategies for safe production delivery.
• Contribute to deployment automation and runbooks; maintain documentation for onboarding and releases.
• Collaborate with TechOps to shape self-service workflows, guardrails, and standards for Kubernetes usage.
• Build and maintain deployment pipelines using Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD, or similar tools.
• Establish observability within namespaces, including metrics, logging, and alerting.
• Document deployment templates and best practices for self-service use by engineers.
