Job summary

Partnerize is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to champion deployment architecture and modernise how workloads are deployed and scaled on our Kubernetes platform. You’ll be embedded with engineering teams, owning CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and migration strategies to accelerate value delivery.

You’ll influence platform design, standardise configurations, and drive secure, observable, and repeatable deployment practices across our on-premise estate.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Extensive Ansible experience: roles, inventories, vault, idempotency.
• Production Docker and Docker Compose experience.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Strong scripting ability: Bash and Python.
• Experience with GitOps tooling: ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).
• Ability to plan pragmatically and deliver iteratively within real-world constraints.
• Methodical, security-conscious approach.
• Nice-to-have: Helm chart authoring and management.
• Nice-to-have: Terraform for IaC.
• Nice-to-have: Secrets management tools like Vault or Sealed Secrets.

Responsibilities

• BAU & Platform Stability: manage deployment automation and release processes.
• Kubernetes: shape platform design, standardise configurations, and migrate workloads.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes-based deployments and guardrails.
• Create developer self-service docs and runbooks for onboarding and releases.
• Drive observability setup: metrics, logging, and alerting within namespaces.
