Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the deployment architecture and champion a Kubernetes platform rollout on our on‑premise estate. You’ll own day‑to‑day delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and guardrails across engineering teams.

This hands-on role requires strong scripting, Ansible expertise, and a pragmatic, security-conscious approach to shipping value safely and rapidly. You’ll collaborate closely with TechOps and security to modernise our platform.

Qualifications

• Strong collaboration and communication in cross-functional teams.
• Proven Ansible roles, inventories, vault and idempotent deployments.
• Production experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Experience with GitOps and Kubernetes platforms.
• Security-conscious approach to deployment and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment automation and feature releases via Ansible and CI/CD.
• Monitor cluster health, incident response, and post-mortems with TechOps.
• Standardize namespaces, RBAC, and ingress configurations for Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Helm/Kustomize/ArgoCD and guardrails.
• Create developer self-service docs and runbooks.
