Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience of the development control/management system in Wales.
• Ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is essential.
• A valid driving licence is a requirement for this post.

Responsibilities

• Process a complex and varied caseload in an efficient and timely manner.
• Provide professional pre-application advice to developers in line with statutory deadlines.
• Project manage Mixed Use Strategic Development Sites.
• Present at Development Control Committee meetings where required.
• Supervise and mentor junior members of staff.
• Contribute to the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of Bridgend County Borough.
