Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the UK is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join their Mental Health Pharmacy team in Radlett. This role involves supporting the dispensary with medication management and providing essential counselling to patients. The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications and have significant experience in hospital settings. This position offers competitive remuneration between £32,602 to £39,686 annually and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience working as a registered pharmacy technician in a hospital pharmacy setting.
  • IT competency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience in Mental Health and training staff.

Responsibilities

  • Support dispensary with ordering, receiving, and dispensing medication.
  • Conduct medicines reconciliations for safe care.
  • Provide education and counselling to patients regarding medicines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work under pressure accurately
Highly developed physical skills in dispensing

Education

BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services
Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacy technician
Accreditation in Medicines Management
Accreditation in Accuracy Checking
Practice educational supervisor qualification
