Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Interstitial lung disease (ILD) pharmacy team at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and provide pharmacy support.

Responsibilities
  • This role involves supporting the team in administrative tasks, managing and maintaining databases used by the ILD pharmacy team, and liaising with ILD patients, healthcare professionals, and homecare providers to facilitate provision of homecare medication for ILD patients.
  • The postholder will support the ILD pharmacy team in the coordination and production of homecare prescriptions, ensuring relevant databases are maintained, liaising with patients, healthcare professionals, and homecare providers as necessary to facilitate homecare for respiratory patients.
  • The post holder will support the ILD pharmacy team in communicating with primary care to gather information regarding patients’ blood tests.
  • The post-holder will support the ILD Pharmacy and nurse specialist (CNS) teams to manage outpatient communication, liaise with referring physicians and general practitioners, and deal with patient queries.
