Job summary

Qualifications

• Broad experience in all aspects of oral & maxillo-facial surgery.
• Proven interest and experience in Head & Neck surgery, including cancer surgery, microvascular surgery, and facial deformity.
• Experience in surgical dermatology.
• Experience of emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of oral & maxillofacial surgery.
• Participate in research projects and management activities.
• Supervise and train junior doctors.

Skills

Competence in diagnosis of facial pain

Competence in operative surgery and management of trauma

Competence in nasendoscopy

Practical knowledge and proven experience of care of acutely ill patients

Experience of / ability to supervise and train junior doctors

Education

Higher Oral & Maxillofacial surgical qualification

Full GMC and GDC registration

Entry on to the GMC / GDC Specialist Register
