About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Operational Risk Manager to play a key role in embedding our Operational Risk Management Framework across the Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence strategic decision‑making and shape the way we manage risk.

You’ll work closely with business areas, providing insight, challenge, and support, while leading second‑line oversight of operational risk. From risk event management and analysis to reporting for senior committees, you’ll help us maintain a strong and resilient control environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Embedding the Operational Risk Management Framework and associated policies.
  • Leading on risk reporting for senior executive committees.
  • Building strong relationships across the business to ensure risk‑aware decision‑making.
  • Supporting Risk & Control Self Assessments and identifying material risks.
  • Conducting thematic reviews and enhancing control environments.
  • Delivering training and acting as a technical expert on risk matters.
  • Leading scenario analysis and assessing operational risk capital requirements.
  • Driving projects to further embed risk management practices.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in operational risk, ideally within financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with project planning techniques.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience.
