Role Overview

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Online Marketplace Manager to own and grow performance across a portfolio of curated European and US fashion marketplaces.

This is an execution‑focused role, responsible for day‑to‑day marketplace account management, performance optimisation, and driving incremental growth through data, trading activity, and close platform relationships.

This role is not Amazon‑focused and is suited to candidates with experience in brand‑led or department‑store‑style online marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities
Marketplace & Account Ownership
  • Own day‑to‑day management of multiple fashion marketplace accounts
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with marketplace account managers
  • Manage trading calendars, promotions, launches, and range updates
  • Proactively identify underperformance and take corrective action
Sales Growth & Trading
  • Drive incremental growth through:
  • range and assortment optimisation
  • pricing and promotional analysis
  • stock availability and replenishment planning
  • Monitor weekly performance trends and act early when KPIs fall behind plan
  • Take clear ownership of results rather than relying on escalation
Data & Commercial Analysis
  • Analyse sales, conversion, sell‑through, returns, and margin
  • Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights
  • Maintain simple, reliable performance tracking and reporting
Cross‑functional Coordination
  • Work closely with Operations, Merchandising, and Finance to ensure:
  • accurate forecasting
  • timely replenishment
  • smooth execution across platforms
Marketplace Expansion (Secondary)
  • Support onboarding of new marketplace opportunities as they arise
  • Assess new platforms pragmatically rather than aggressively “hunting”
What We’re Looking For
Essential
  • Experience managing fashion or lifestyle online marketplaces (non‑Amazon)
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability
  • Comfortable owning numbers and acting proactively
  • Highly organised, detail‑driven, and calm under pressure
  • Confident communicator with external platform partners
Nice to Have
  • Experience with curated or department‑store‑led marketplaces
  • Exposure to both EU and US online retail platforms
  • Background in fashion accessories or consumer brands
Role Structure
  • Full‑time
  • Individual contributor role (no team management initially)
  • Clear ownership and accountability for marketplace performance
  • Scope designed to scale as the business grows
Salary & Benefits
  • £50,000 – £60,000 base salary, depending on experience
  • 5–10% discretionary bonus linked to performance
  • Flexible, remote‑first working
Why This Role
  • This role offers clear ownership and impact in scaling marketplace performance for a growing premium brand, with responsibility focused on execution rather than hierarchy.
