Sainsbury's is seeking a Lead Online Manager to drive the online delivery operation and lead a team of managers, ensuring every delivery goes out on time and meets our service standards.

You will analyse data, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with the store leadership team to plan for key trading events. You will coach the overnight team to maintain high standards and efficiency, while handling people management duties.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Track record delivering exceptional customer experiences across complex operations.
• Proven ability to improve KPIs such as sales, stock availability and customer satisfaction.
• Experience managing sensitive people matters including performance and absence.
• Operational leadership in retail, hospitality, or food service with ownership of departmental performance.
• Evidence of leading change and embedding new systems or ways of working.

Responsabilités

• Direct a small team of managers to deliver the online delivery operation of the supermarket, ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Review data and ensure compliance with processes and procedures in a KPI-driven environment.
• Plan for upcoming trading activities in coordination with store leadership.
• Overnight store leadership, modelling high standards and efficiency.
• Manage pay, scheduling, training, and employee relations activities.
