Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking an online management professional to lead the in-store online service. You will plan and coordinate a picking and delivery team, coaching shoppers and drivers to ensure a seamless, safe shopping experience for online and in-store customers.

Collaborating with store managers, you will drive performance, manage schedules and pay, and maintain high KPI achievement in a fast-paced environment dedicated to customer service and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Delivers brilliant customer service and coaches a team to do the same.
• Experience in meeting or exceeding KPIs and performance indicators.
• Can manage disciplinaries and employee relations issues.
• Leads store operations and can operate independently in absence of senior management.
• Experience leading a customer-facing team and maintaining smooth operations.
• Demonstrated ability to drive performance and staff engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and orchestrate the delivery of an online picking and delivery team for in-store online service.
• Be a visible leader, coaching a large team of shoppers and drivers to deliver a seamless, safe shopping experience.
• Collaborate with other managers to improve the overall store shopping experience.
• People management, including performance, capability, disciplinaries, scheduling and pay accuracy.
