Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Lead Online Manager to direct our online delivery operation, ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries and strong customer service. You will lead managers, drive KPI improvements, and collaborate with the store leadership team on upcoming trading events.

You will oversee overnight operations, coach for high standards, manage scheduling and performance, and support a culture of inclusivity and high engagement across the online team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading managers in a fast-paced, customer‑focussed environment.
• Proven ability to drive KPI improvement across complex operations.
• Strong capability to manage performance, absence and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Direct a small team of managers to deliver the online delivery operation, ensuring every delivery goes out on time.
• Review data and ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
• Plan for key trading activities in coordination with the store leadership team.
• Oversee overnight store operations, coach for high standards and efficiency.
• Manage pay, scheduling, training and employee relations activities.
