Overall Purpose of the Role:
  • Maintain the current IT Network infrastructure :
  • WAN
  • LAN
  • Wireless LAN
  • VoIP / PSTN connectivity
  • Perimeter security and remote access
  • Load balancing
  • Datacentre
  • Contribute to the development of the existing network and suggest ways of improving existing technology, processes and documentation.
  • Travel to sites in the UK and Ireland to perform reactive and preventative maintenance as required or directed.
  • Work with other teams to ensure resolution of incidents / problems, always putting the customer first.
  • Work within project teams to help design, implement and operate IT projects.
