As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and qualification of advanced engineering systems and components. Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and analysis of mechanical components and systems, utilising advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Take responsibility for delivering fully qualified design solutions for customer projects.
  • Oversee third-party engineering service providers to ensure efficient and high-quality design execution.
  • Ensure all design activities comply with relevant industry standards and quality systems, including ISO 9001.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and project teams to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering professional development within the team.
  • Perform additional technical tasks as required to support overall business objectives.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum of 5 years\' experience in a design engineering role with a proven track record of delivering projects.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and FEA tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and fundamental engineering calculations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
