Job description

In this role, you will utilize your knowledge of product and/or technical skills to lead Audiences & Data Enablement for user messaging and manage a globally distributed team of Product Managers. You will drive the product strategy and roadmap, gain leadership and cross-functional alignment, and deliver quality messaging products to our users to advance the subscriber experience. As part of roadmap setting, you will align to the business key business objectives and set key performance indicators to assess attainment against objectives.

Your ability to make data-driven decisions and navigate complex challenges will directly contribute to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and the company's competitive edge in the industry.

This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

  • Defines the strategy, tenets, principles, and priorities for large and complex products in the user messaging domain
  • Defines success KPIs for their product domain
  • Drives executive and leadership alignment around priorities and resourcing decisions
  • Organizes functional team structure to maximize business success while ensuring appropriate matching between team member responsibilities and areas of expertise
  • Responsible for functional roadmaps within their product domain and resolves any priority conflicts or trade-offs within those roadmaps
  • Drives alignment to a common product strategy across a diverse set of stakeholders including Global Marketing teams, Core Data Engineering, Device Engineering and LPMO
  • Conduct feature discovery through stakeholder dialogue, analytic synthesis, market research and leadership input to create a discovery artifact.
  • Oversees the SDLC framework phases and adherence of the protocols we’ve defined.
  • Analyze platforms and services usage to ensure cost containment and optimal utilization.

The Experience We Require From You:

  • Strong experience in a product, operations, program management, or similar role with experience supporting technical product development
  • Experience in managing a distributed team via agile methodologies
  • Experience of subject matter expertise or expertise in the adjacent industry
  • Experience leading products with global impact with a high bar for quality
  • High degree of empathy for user pain points and collectively identifying solutions to remediate
  • Experience in building relationships through influence
  • Experience in partnering with diverse and global stakeholders
  • Experience in the user messaging space
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience in user experience design
  • Education in technology or business domains. An undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, finance, economics, or related disciplines. Equivalent work experience is applicable.
  • MS or MBA, Product Management Certification, Portfolio Management Certification or Technical Certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner) is preferred.
