As a Senior Manager in our Finance Strategy practice, you will have the opportunity to deliver in the following areas:

• CFO Agenda: Shape and deliver on the CFO’s strategic agenda including partnering with senior Finance executives to design and deploy future fit Finance operating models and digital Finance solutions.
• Tip of the arrow: Work closely with the wider Deloitte ecosystem to act as the tip of the arrow and, where required, pull in other parts of Deloitte to solve and exploit Finance’s biggest issues and opportunities.
• Project Delivery: Take ownership of challenging projects, guiding teams to deliver exceptional results for our clients across a range of areas with a focus on: Finance vision and target operating model, Finance transformation, shared services and outsourcing, and Finance processes and other issues remediation.
• Client Relationship Building: Proactively build and nurture strong relationships with client stakeholders, understanding their unique needs and becoming their go-to expert for Finance transformation.
• Growing our Business: Contribute to the growth of our practice by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and winning client work.
• Innovation: Contribute to the development of innovative value propositions and thought leadership and staying ahead of market trends in Finance Strategy.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior leadership, playing a key role in practice development and motivating, mentoring and exciting your team.

You will be a highly entrepreneurial self-starter. This role is critical to the continued growth and success of the Finance Strategy team and will play a part in building, developing and inspiring this community. You will have the following skills and experience:

• Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
• A proven track record of leading and successfully delivering complex Finance Transformation programmes covering areas such as Finance operating models, process optimisation and issue remediation
• Deep knowledge of best practices across key aspects of the Finance operating model: process, service delivery, organisation, technology, and data.
• Strong background in established and emerging Finance technologies
• You’ll have a demonstrable ability to cultivate new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the practice. This could include experience in developing proposals, pitching to clients.
• Proven ability to effectively plan, manage, and deliver high-quality projects, demonstrating strong financial acumen and people leadership skills. You can confidently lead teams and inspire high performance.
• Strategic thinker with an ability to translate ideas into actionable plans and drive them to completion
