We are seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our finance team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

This role involves managing financial reporting and performance analysis across three legal entities—two in the UK and one in the Republic of Ireland. You will oversee a Management Accountant, providing insightful financial data, ensuring strong controls, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to financial management.

• Manage the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts for all three entities.
• Support budgeting, reforecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and variance analysis with commentary.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across sites.
• Oversee management of costings, inventory valuation, and production variances.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Review and submit VAT returns for all entities, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
• Collaborate with operational teams to support business performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and controls.
• Support year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Supervise and develop the Management Accountant, fostering professional growth.
