Job description
Role Overview

The role supports Manchester Royal Infirmary in the delivery of care for Acute Medicine (AMU) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC). The clinical level expected is IMT3 or above. The candidate should be motivated to work in acute medicine, understand the complexities of this population, and be prepared to work independently with consultant support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision, assistance and instruction to junior medical staff (e.g., Foundation trainees).
  • Maintain the highest clinical standards at all times and in accordance with accepted good medical practice and the various clinical policies of the Service.
Qualifications
  • Clinical level IMT3 or above.
  • Desire to work in the field of medicine and understanding of the complexities of acute populations.
  • Good experience, competencies and background in acute medicine.
