A leading maritime organization in the UK seeks a Senior Lighthouse Maintenance Engineer to manage the maintenance of historic lighthouses. This role covers contract management and compliance with safety standards while working across coastal areas. Candidates should have building maintenance experience and relevant qualifications, including a Level 4 technical qualification and NEBOSH CDM Certificate. This is a permanent position based in Harwich with a salary range of £37,768 to £43,008.

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our field operations team. Based in Harwich, Essex, working predominantly across the East and South Coast of England, Gibraltar while sometime venturing to Wales, Cornwall, The Channel Islands, the Isles of Scilly and beyond within the UK, in some of the most awe-inspiring coastal locations. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the UK's vital maritime safety assets while working alongside experienced engineers, technicians, and maritime professionals.
You will be responsible for managing the ongoing maintenance of an estate of 21 historic lighthouses and their associated cottages and out buildings, traveling to many coastal areas and offshore locations in support of the maritime Aids to Navigation.
