Elvet Recruitment is working with a leader within the renewable energy supply market looking for a Senior / Lead Bid Writer to join their team in the county of Durham area.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Take lead writing bids
• Research clients
• Mentor bid writers
• Review bids and answers before being submitted ensuring all key points etc are covered in depth
• Responsible for writing bids and contribution to answers – hands on role
• The person will work closely with our Bid Team to create project specific tender plans including check points, progress
• Have a strong understanding of social value

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience within public sector procurement (Social housing, local Authority, Capital Works, Construction)
• Knowledge on social value and how to get economically score well
• Knowledge on frameworks and how they work
• Salary up to £60,000 DOE
• Office based (flexibility available)

Role details

• 37 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 08 : 00 - 17 : 30
• Full Time, Permanent
• Up to £50,000 per annum DOE
