Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Land Advisory professional to join our UK offices, including London, Croydon and beyond. You will manage multiple land information projects for major infrastructure schemes, delivering high-quality land advice to our clients and communities.

Reporting to the Land Advisory Principal, you’ll coordinate stakeholders, produce Land Plans and Book of Reference documents, and guide the GIS team on data management to ensure accurate, timely outputs and effective

Qualifications

• Geography degree or experience in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with land information procurement and management for infrastructure schemes.
• Demonstrable success in roles requiring multi-tasking and problem-solving on infrastructure schemes.
• Detailed knowledge of Statutory Processes, Land Referencing, Standing Orders and Land & Property Industry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate extensive stakeholder engagement including the public, landowners, and authorities.
• Collaborate with GIS & Mapping to interpret spatial data and produce Land Ownership/Access Plans.
• Produce and quality-check statutory notices, access agreements and related plans.
• Engage with affected landowners and manage relationships.
• Oversee the Book of Reference, Land Plans and associated documents.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports and client interfaces.
• Provide guidance to the GIS team on data management and compliance.
• Lead and develop the land referencing team as required.
