Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Land Advisory Principal Land Consultant to lead multiple infrastructure land projects. You will oversee delivery of detailed land advice for clients, coordinating with public bodies and landowners while guiding a GIS team and ensuring compliance with statutory processes.

Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and leadership will be essential as you manage Book of Reference production and reporting. Hybrid working and global opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Geography degree or relevant discipline.
• Experience procuring and managing land information for infrastructure schemes.
• Proven ability to multi-task and solve problems on infrastructure schemes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with public, property owners, resident associations, land agents, local authorities and solicitors.
• Work with GIS & Mapping team to interpret spatial data and produce Land Ownership and Access Plans.
• Produce and quality-check statutory notices, access agreements and associated access plans.
• Engage with affected land owners.
• Manage production of the Book of Reference, Land Plans and related documents.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports.
• Client interfacing.
• Team management.
• Provide the GIS team with guidance on data management and land referencing requirements.
