Job summary

Mott MacDonald is recruiting for a Land Advisory role in the UK. You will lead land referencing and assembly on complex infrastructure projects, guiding a skilled team and coordinating with senior leadership to meet commercial and programme targets.

You will apply expertise in statutory processes, client engagement, and project governance to deliver high-quality technical outcomes while fostering a collaborative, inclusive working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading land referencing, land assembly and strategic consultancy on infrastructure or development projects.
• Experience managing land referencing teams and delivering a Book of Reference, Land Plans and related documents.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement with internal and external partners.
• Knowledge of Development Consent Orders (DCOs), hybrid Bills or TWAOs.
• Ability to mentor and develop teams and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate extensive stakeholder engagement with the public, landowners, authorities and solicitors.
• Interpret spatial data with GIS/MAP teams to produce Land Ownership plans.
• Produce and check statutory notices, access agreements and plans.
• Engage with affected landowners and manage related reports.
• Oversee creation of Book of Reference, Land Plans and associated documents.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports and interface with clients.
