Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Land Advisory Associate to lead land referencing and advisory work on major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, oversee budgets, and nurture strong client relationships.

You will work within a hybrid framework across multiple projects, drawing on proven leadership and technical expertise in land referencing and related statutory processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading land referencing, land assembly and advisory work on infrastructure or development projects.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience with a focus on team development.
• Solid project management skills including budget oversight and resource coordination.
• Experience in client-facing roles and external stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of statutory processes such as DCOs, hybrid Bills or TWAOs.

Responsibilities

• Extensive stakeholder coordination with the public, landowners, local authorities and solicitors.
• Collaborate with GIS & Mapping to interpret spatial data and produce land ownership plans.
• Produce and quality-check statutory notices, access agreements and plans.
• Engage with affected landowners and manage Book of Reference and Land Plans.
• Create weekly and monthly reports and interface with clients.
• Lead and manage project teams and represent the firm externally.
