Key Responsibilities
- Own the analysis, configuration, and enhancement of key JDE Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, Security)
- Translate business requirements into functional solutions and optimised processes
- Conduct gap analyses, recommend improvements, and champion best practice
- Support testing, training, documentation, and user enablement
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions make practical business impact
People Leadership (with room to grow)
- Mentor, guide, and coach team members - supporting their career development
- Assist with resourcing and workload allocation
- Help promote a collaborative, supportive, high-performance team culture
- Provide input into performance reviews, team planning, and training needs
- Take on increasing people management responsibility as your leadership grows
Service Excellence & ITIL Practices
- Oversee end-to-end service delivery across incidents, changes, and problem management
- Ensure SLA & OLA performance by monitoring progress and supporting team actions
- Act as an escalation point for difficult or time‑critical cases
- Use ServiceNow (or similar ITSM) to manage workflow, compliance, and audit trails
- Participate in the early/late support rota (covering 8am-6pm operations)
- Drive continuous service improvement with a proactive mindset
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent the team in regular customer-facing sessions
- Build trust through excellent communication, follow-through, and reliability
- Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers, Account Managers, CNC & technical teams
- Present functional designs, share insights, and provide progress updates

Qualifications
We're looking for an experienced JD Edwards Functional Consultant who brings deep Finance knowledge and a passion for service excellence – someone who wants to make a real impact, have a voice, and grow into a leadership role.
- Extensive hands‑on JDE experience (Finance modules essential)
- A background as a team lead, supervisory, or mentoring capacity
- Strong understanding of finance processes and operational workflows
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar IT service platforms
- Solid grasp of ITIL methodology and service management principles
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic workload
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Collaborative, proactive, and driven by service quality and customer satisfaction
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- JDE certifications
- ITIL Foundation or above
- Experience in ERP migrations or upgrades
- Knowledge of integrations with other business systems
