Qualifications

• Strong systems development experience covering all stages including design, development, testing, and live support.
• Strong hands-on Object-Oriented Design skills.
• Experience profiling and performance tuning of applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver migration of legacy applications to new event-based architecture.
• Lead delivery of coherent end-to-end IT solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Enterprise engineering standards.
• Organise walkthroughs of solutions with delivery teams.
• Support development and coaching of junior colleagues.

Skills

Strong core Java programming skills

Experience developing micro-services in Java

Hands-on experience with Docker

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes

Hands-on SpringBoot skills

Experience with Kafka ecosystem
