Job summary

Emplyfy in the United Kingdom is seeking an IT Engineer to join a fast-paced MSP. You will be the first point of contact for customers, visit sites to troubleshoot, and manage incidents and requests.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in similar roles with Cyber Essentials, GDPR, Office 365, Intune, Azure and Windows Server. The role offers £30,000-£40,000 plus 40 days' holiday and strong career development prospects.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in IT support or MSP environments.
• Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Proficient with Office 365, Intune and Azure.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and macOS.
• Strong customer-facing communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites as required to troubleshoot and resolve problems or issues, and carry out scheduled maintenance.
• Manage incoming incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on their cases in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities and take the necessary action to achieve results.
• Monitor the integrity and status of customer sites, including usage, revisions, views and reporting, while ensuring customer business requirements are maintained to the highest standard.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents both on-site and off-site.
