Job summary

Emplyfy in the United Kingdom is seeking an IT Engineer to join a fast-paced MSP environment. You will be the first point of contact for customers, visit sites to troubleshoot and perform maintenance, and manage incidents through the service desk while keeping clients updated and aligned with SLAs.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar IT position with experience in Cyber Essentials, GDPR security, Office 365, Intune, RMM, networking and Azure.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a similar IT role.
• Configuring Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Experience with Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Experience with Intune, RMM and telecom platform.
• Networking knowledge including routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls and VLANs.
• Ability to proactively support and collaborate with service providers.
• Follow industry best practices and ITIL-like processes.
• Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 administration and policies.
• Azure administration and implementations.
• Good understanding of Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites to troubleshoot, resolve issues and perform maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on cases per SLA.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities and take necessary actions to achieve results.
• Monitor integrity and status of customer sites and reporting.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents on-site and off-site.
