Job summary

Emplyfy's client in the United Kingdom seeks an IT Engineer to join a fast-paced MSP team. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, troubleshoot on-site and remotely, manage incidents via the service desk, and ensure SLA compliance while maintaining high service quality.

The role requires 5+ years in similar IT support roles, strong knowledge of Office 365, Intune, RMM, Azure, Windows Server, and network infrastructure. The company offers £30k-£40k and 40 days holiday.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a similar IT role.
• Configuring Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards (if applicable).
• Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) experience.
• Intune and RMM and Telephone platform experience.
• Network infrastructure maintenance and installations.
• Azure administration and implementations.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 (Group Policies, Security Policies).
• Windows 10/11 and Mac knowledge.
• Familiar with client builds/imaging.
• Strong customer support and communication; team player.
• Ability to problem-solve independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites as required to troubleshoot and resolve problems or issues, and carry out scheduled maintenance.
• Manage incoming incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on their cases in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities and take necessary action to achieve results.
• Monitor the integrity and status of customer sites, including usage, revisions, views and reporting, while ensuring customer business requirements are maintained to the highest standard.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents both on-site and off-site.
