Job summary

Emplyfy, an IT MSP, is seeking an IT Engineer to join its fast-paced, high-energy team in the United Kingdom. You'll act as the first point of contact for customers, attend sites, and manage incidents through the service desk.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar position, experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR, Office 365 Cloud, Intune, RMM, Azure, Windows/macOS, and strong communication and teamwork. Salary £30,000–£40,000 with 40 days holiday.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a similar IT role.
• Configuring Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory).
• Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) experience (mandatory).
• Intune and RMM and Telephone platform experience.
• Networking infrastructure maintenance and installations (Routers, Switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VLANs)
• Strong customer-facing communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites as required to troubleshoot and resolve problems or issues, and carry out scheduled maintenance.
• Manage incoming incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on their cases in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities and take the necessary action to achieve results.
• Monitor the integrity and status of customer sites, including usage, revisions, views and reporting, while ensuring customer business requirements are maintained to the highest standard.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents both on-site and off-site.
