Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an IT Engineer to join a fast-paced MSP environment. You will be the first point of contact for customers, troubleshoot on-site and remote issues, and manage incidents through the Service Desk Tool. The role requires hands-on hardware/software skills and a customer-focused approach.

The position offers a salary range of £30,000–£40,000 with 40 days of paid holiday. You will work closely with service providers and ensure adherence to SLAs across client sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a similar IT support/engineering role
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving ability
• Team player with collaborative mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites as required to troubleshoot and resolve problems or issues, and carry out scheduled maintenance.
• Manage incoming incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on their cases in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities and take the necessary action to achieve results.
• Monitor the integrity and status of customer sites, including usage, revisions, views and reporting, while ensuring customer business requirements are maintained to the highest standard.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents both on-site and off-site.
