Qualifications

• Hold an initial or higher Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Extensive relevant experience within a UK-based consultancy.
• Demonstrable experience of road and drainage design.
• Excellent knowledge of Microdrainage, Causeway PDS, Civils 3D, and AutoCAD.
• Proven ability to forge and maintain excellent client relationships.

Overview

Senior Infrastructure Engineer required to lead an expanding team of specialists in the civil infrastructure design of highways and drainage schemes for commercial, industrial, and residential development projects near York, with potential to work further afield.

Responsibilities

• Design structures across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors
• Lead high-profile projects from inception through to delivery
• Build, maintain, and manage stakeholder relations across public and private sectors
• Represent the company at design team meetings and site visits

Required skills and experience

• Hold an initial or higher Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
• Extensive relevant experience within a UK-based consultancy
• Demonstrable experience of road and drainage design with respect to Section Agreements (S38, S278, S104, etc.)
• Excellent working knowledge of Microdrainage, Causeway PDS, Civils 3D, and AutoCAD
• Experience in preparing drainage appraisals with SuDS in compliance with Local and Water Authority requirements
• Good knowledge of current technical standards, procedures, and by-laws
• Proven ability to forge and maintain excellent client and stakeholder relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence

Desirable skills and experience

• Good working knowledge of Revit
• Chartered Engineer status, or actively working toward it
