Are you a driven and detail orientated application packaging specialist with wider infrastructure engineering skills, ready to take the next step in your career?

We have just the opportunity for you!

We're look to recruit skilled a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, who will be contributing and specialising in the delivery of high-quality Windows 11 package applications for a broad range of our public sectors clients.

Supporting those applications from creation to deployment will be a major part of the role, guaranteeing our customers receive robust, rigorously tested and reliable application solutions. As someone from a wider infrastructure background, the successful applicant will also be responding to queries, providing 3rd and 4th line support.

This hybrid roles offers a fantastic work life balance with visits to our offices in Hemel Hempstead only required, on average, once a week. Due to the nature of the role, there may be occasions where an on site presence is required more frequently and equally, there may be longer stretches without a visit to the office.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building, testing, and delivering application packages using modern packaging toolsets and importing, deploying, and managing applications.
• Operating on a capability basis and supporting across a number of clients.
• Attending meetings with clients to discuss updates and progress with each separate project.
• Providing 3rd and 4th line support, addressing issues such as application deployment failures or end-user device support.

What you’ll bring:

• A dedicated background in application packaging and its related technologies and best practices.
• Experience with investigating and resolving defects in previously created packages.
• Detailed knowledge of Windows 11 environment.
• Familiarity with relevant toolsets such as Intune, SCCM, App-V, and AdminStudio.
• MSI (Windows Installer) and other packaging formats (EXE, MSP, CAB).

It would be great if you had:

• Certifications such as MCP or MCSE or MSTS in Configuration Manager.
• Experience in Desktop management solutions & process (OS management, device management, patching, inventory, reporting)
• Knowledge of ITIL practices.
