A prominent healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a data analyst to enhance insights from electronic record systems within Specialist Children’s Services. The role encompasses data analysis, communication with stakeholders, and support for developing data systems. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and preferably have experience in a healthcare setting. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions. We provide acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million, extending to 2.2 million through regional and national services. This fixed‑term position lasts 7 months and offers a structured shift pattern: Monday 9:00‑4:30 pm, Tuesday‑Friday 9:00‑5:00 pm.
As part of a small, friendly team, you will undertake data analysis, evaluation, research and improvement projects within Specialist Children’s Services (SCS). Your responsibilities will centre on exploiting data from SCS electronic record systems to enhance analysis, interpretation and presentation, while supporting the development of relevant data systems, datasets, and demand‑ and capacity‑modelling initiatives.
Shift pattern: Monday 9:00‑4:30 pm, Tuesday‑Friday 9:00‑5:00 pm.
