Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in the East Midlands is seeking an experienced HR Manager to play a key role in recruitment, employee relations and compliance. The HR Manager will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing end-to-end recruitment processes, implementing training programs and ensuring adherence to UK employment laws. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in HR within manufacturing and possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. A CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Previous experience conducting and carrying out employee training.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and onboarding processes management.
  • Implement initiatives for employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Assess training needs and deliver effective training programs.
  • Lead performance appraisal systems and support managers in goal setting.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and update HR policies.
