A leading retail company in Central London is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner for a maternity cover role lasting 12-13 months. You will oversee head office functions and manage a small team, ensuring HR adds value to business performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR at a senior level, preferably in retail, and be comfortable working autonomously. The role offers a salary up to £75,000 along with hybrid working arrangements and a comprehensive benefits package.
An established retailer, the market leader in its field, is looking to recruit a senior HR business partner to oversee all corporate and commercial functions within its global head office. This award‑winning retailer has a footprint of stores globally, totalling over 300. The role of senior HR business partner will oversee all head office functions for a 12‑to‑13‑month maternity cover, finishing at the end of January 2027. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of two, including an HR business partner and an HR advisor.
Leading and supporting specific people projects, working closely with the senior leadership and executive team in the office, ensuring that HR adds value to support business performance and ensuring that people are at the heart of all decisions made. You’ll support and consult on HR procedures and policies, maintain key relationships across all levels including senior leadership teams, and build and maintain an autonomous working environment.
Significant experience at an experienced HRBP or senior HRBP level, ideally in a retail environment. Broad generalist knowledge across all disciplines with an in-depth knowledge of HR procedures and policies. Comfortable working independently in an autonomous environment, with the ability to build and maintain key relationships across all levels including senior leadership teams.
The salary on offer is up to £75,000, depending on experience and offers a comprehensive benefit package including bonus, healthcare protection, and generous pension contributions.
The role is based in the heart of Central London, in a bustling area with plenty going on. There is hybrid working on offer with two days from home. The company is looking for the successful applicant to start before the end of January.
