Job summary

A well-established company is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic/Technician in Stockport. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified with a City & Guilds or NVQ background, possessing a solid understanding of modern haulage vehicles. Qualifications

• Fully qualified HGV Mechanic with City & Guilds / NVQ.
• Able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Have knowledge of modern haulage vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle inspections.
• General servicing and pre-planned maintenance.
• Reactive maintenance as required.
• MOT preparation / Presentation.
• Correction of running defects.
