A leading care provider is looking for a Senior Health Care Assistant in Sheffield. In this full-time role, you will lead a care team in delivering high-quality support to residents. Position: Senior Health Care Assistant – Care home: Willowbeck – Location: 95 Holywell Road, Sheffield S4 8AR – Contract type: Full time - 42hrs per week. Days and nights available – Rate: £13.27 per hour

Our Senior Health Care Assistants work closely with our Nurse in Charge to lead a small Care Team in delivering high-quality care for the people we support.

Willowbeck is part of Exemplar Health Care, a leading provider of nursing care for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.
Willowbeck supports 30 adults living with complex mental health needs and neuro-disabilities including Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s disease across three units.

Our Senior Health Care Assistants work closely with the Nurse in Charge and lead our Care Teams in supporting every aspect of our residents’ day-to-day lives.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
We have higher-than-average staffing levels when compared to other care providers. There are usually up to six colleagues on each unit that supports around ten people, giving you more time to spend with the people you support.

To apply for this role, you must have relevant experience, a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social care, plus Maths and English at GCSE Grade C or above (or relevant functional skills qualification).
