Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in the UK is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Environmental Services Team.
You will lead desk studies, interpret geotechnical reports and work with multidisciplinary teams across major infrastructure programmes in the UK and Ireland. You will mentor graduates, develop junior engineers, and help advance digital workflows that sharpen ground investigation and design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or related discipline.
- Chartered status with ICE or Geological Society, or near completion.
- Experience in desk studies, site inspections and interpretative geotechnical reports.
- Ability to communicate ground risk to clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Interest in digital workflows for ground investigation and design.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of complex desk studies and interpretative geotechnical reports.
- Analyze sophisticated geotechnical structures and provide ground risk intelligence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Develop graduate engineers and contribute to high technical standards.
- Adopt digital innovation in workflows for ground investigation and design.
