Stantec is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its Environmental Services Team across the UK and Ireland. You will lead complex desk studies, interpret geotechnical reports, and contribute to major infrastructure programmes.

You will mentor graduates, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help advance digital workflows and ground risk intelligence to deliver sustainable solutions. This role offers hybrid working, broad project exposure, and opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or related field.
• Chartered member of ICE or Geological Society, or very close to chartership.
• Experience preparing desk studies, site inspections and interpretative reports.
• Ability to communicate ground risk clearly to clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex desk studies and interpretative geotechnical reports across varied ground conditions.
• Analyse sophisticated geotechnical structures and provide design input.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver ground risk intelligence.
• Develop graduate and junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
