Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its Environmental Services Team in the UK and Ireland. The role focuses on leading desk studies, site inspections, and advanced geotechnical analyses across major infrastructure programmes for water and energy projects.

You will mentor graduates, contribute to high technical standards, and drive digital innovations in ground investigation and design processes within a collaborative regional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a related discipline.
• Chartered status with ICE or Geological Society, or in final stages of achieving that status.
• Extensive experience in preparing desk studies, site inspections, and interpretative geotechnical reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of complex desk studies and interpretative geotechnical reports.
• Analyze sophisticated geotechnical structures and provide ground risk intelligence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
