Job summary

Stantec in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Environmental Services Team. You will lead the preparation of complex desk studies, interpretative geotechnical reports, and oversee ground risk analyses across major infrastructure programmes.

You will mentor graduates and junior engineers, champion digital workflows, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable ground solutions for clients such as water and energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a related discipline.
• Chartered member of ICE or the Geological Society, or in final stages of achieving status.
• Experience in preparing desk studies, site inspections and geotechnical reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of complex desk studies and interpretative geotechnical reports.
• Analyse and oversee sophisticated geotechnical structures across projects.
• Mentor graduates and junior engineers and promote digital workflows.
