Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its Environmental Services Team across the UK and Ireland. You will lead complex desk studies, interpret geotechnical reports, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver ground risk intelligence.

You will mentor graduates, contribute to digital innovation, and help sustain high technical standards while driving sustainability across infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or related discipline.
• Chartered membership with ICE or Geological Society, or near-chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of complex desk studies and interpretative geotechnical reports.
• Analyse sophisticated geotechnical structures and provide ground risk intelligence.
• Mentor graduate and junior engineers to maintain high technical standards.
• Engage with digital workflows and advanced data tools to improve processes.
